Dr. Mike Metzler is Professor Emeritus in Kinesiology and Health at Georgia State University.  Since his retirement in 2018 he has served a part-time appointment in the GSU Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, where he is the Associate Director for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.  His primary responsibility is to provide faculty with research methods expertise on SoTL research projects.  He also serves as a Faculty Mentor for SoTL Fellows in the University System of Georgia.  In 2012 he received the USG Board of Regents Award for the Scholarship of Teaching.  Dr. Metzler will be co-presenting with Chad Marchong and Yangju Li from CETL's Learning Analytics sector.
