Dr. Langdon's scholarly work is focused on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, where she has conducted studies about student motivation for novel teaching models, metacognition in kinesiology students, and antecedents of instructor motivation in higher education. In addition, she has a vested interest in mentoring SoTL researchers on research methodologies and design. Her work has been recognized through the receipt of the Georgia Southern University Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Award, the Georgia Board of Regent’s Award for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, and the National Associations for Kinesiology in Higher Education’s Distinguished Teaching Award.
