Denise Pinette Domizi is the Director of Faculty Development for the University System of Georgia (USG) and Co-Director of the USG SoTL Fellows Program. Denise works to promote and support innovation and research in teaching and learning at the system-level. She has spent the past twelve years mentoring faculty and graduate students as they conceive of, design, and conduct SoTL research projects. Her research interests include the scholarship of teaching and learning, contextual influences on learning, graduate student development, and learning-centered instructional strategies. She has presented on SoTL at national and international conferences, and has facilitated multi-day SoTL workshops for Oxford College at Emory University; Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou, China; and the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (CIRTL). She holds a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from the University of Georgia.
